You may know Freebirds’ for rockin’ and rollin’ the world’s best burritos, but did you know they have a charitable division called Freebird’s World Works? Their motto is “feed your belly, feed your soul,” and they promote this message in every community in which they land.
Earlier this month, more than 500 people got to experience Freebird’s of Mission, before their grand opening, by making a $5 donation to The Foundation at MRMC. Thanks to you, we exceeded our goal and raised $2,800 in 4 hours to support services provided to adult and child victims of sexual assault and abuse at The S.A.F.E. Place. We are privileged to be their Premier Partner for 2011-2012, and grateful for the enthusiastic support of such a fantastic and flavorful organization.
